The Green Man — Small Tree Trunk Carving
Ancient. Watching. Always there.
The Green Man is one of the oldest and most enduring figures in the natural world — a face born from the forest itself, wreathed in leaves, guardian of the wild and the growing things. He appears in medieval churches, ancient stone carvings, and the deep memory of the land. This hand-carved Balinese trunk carving brings that timeless presence into your home or garden.
Carved from a natural Chinaberry (Jempinis) or Hibiscus trunk offcut in Bali, the Green Man's leaf-framed face emerges directly from the wood. The bark is left intact around him, and the natural grain and tone of each piece means no two are ever the same.
Small enough for a shelf, windowsill, or altar. Robust enough for the garden, conservatory, or patio. He belongs wherever nature is honoured.
